Description

A fire fighting water pump is a centrifugal pump which is used for pumping fire-fighting water. Fire-fighting pumps can be designed for transportable use (e. g. on fire-fighting vehicles or as portable fire pumps) or for stationary use (e. g. hydrants, sprinkler systems).

The ISF series Horizontal End Suction Fire Fighting Water Pumps are engineered for reliable operation upon stationary use. All fabricated parts are standardized and accurately machined for true alignment, increasing overall durability. Precision balancing of all rotating components provides mechanical dependability, reliable operation and minimal maintenance. Impellers are constructed with double inlets that practically eliminated end thrust while boosting operating efficiency.

The highly efficient end suction pump is one of the simplest types of centrifugal pump that features motor slide rails and a back pull out design allowing for ready access and ease of maintenance. It’s a precision-made pump suitable for electric/diesel drives, designed to withhold temperatures of up to 100 deg.C.
